Bats were small winged mammals that are often seen flying in flocks.
Bats were found nearly everywhere on Earth in varieties of species and, depending on their individual species, consumed varying forms of sustenance from blood to fruits to insects. Some bats made their residence in the Oasis of Ahm Shere, leaving their roosts at night. Bats roost most commonly in dark places such as trees, ruins and caves; one flock of bats had resided in a ruin site in Scotland.
