Lenore Zann, born in Sydney, New Wales, Australia, is a voice actress. She voiced Anck-Su-Namun in the television series based on The Mummy.

Biography

Zann moved with her family to Nova Scotia, Canada in 1968 A.D and attended Cobequid Educational Centre, a high school in Truro, Nova Scotia, which, at the time, was notable for its student musical productions. Zann returned to her hometown of Truro in 2008 while still keeping apartments in New York City, Vancouver, and Toronto. In September 2008, Zann declared her dedication to renew a former educational building in downtown Truro, the Provincial Normal College, into a cultural centre. On April 8, 2009 the Nova Scotia New Democratic Party declared that Zann would be the party's entrant in the electoral district of Truro-Bible Hill. On that very day, an employee of the Liberal Party produced a topless photo of Zann to the media from her role in The L Word.[3] On June 9, 2009, Zann won the seat in the general election. Zann is currently the Ministerial Assistant for the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Heritage.
